The Coalition Against Global Genocide expresses support for the Armenian people and protests the violence against Nagorno-Karabakh, also known as Artsakh, an enclave in Azerbaijan populated and governed entirely by ethnic Armenians. Violence has escalated and includes attacks on civilians. The United States, France and Russia should be working with Turkey and Azerbaijan to de-escalate the situation, not adding more weapons to the situation.
We agree with Governor Jared Polis, who said “in this difficult and challenging time Colorado shows solidarity with the Armenian people, both in the enclave in Armenia, in the United States and in Colorado,” Polis said in a video he posted on his Facebook page Saturday afternoon . “I want to thank the Armenia community for really coming together around protecting the lives of Armenians across the world.”
